The following provides the degree options available for the Information Technology (IT) program:

Master of Science in Information Technology
Program Description
The MSIT program is designed either for students who have completed an undergraduate degree in a computing discipline - such as Information Technology, Computer Science or Software Engineering, or students who have an undergraduate degree in a non-computing discipline.
The program includes a variety of elective courses and allows students to design a custom program with focus in several areas of IT including IT security, Health Information Technology, Databases and Networking. This degree prepares graduates to pursue IT leadership positions in industry.
If any of the following foundation courses in Computing has not been taken in another program, these must be completed at the earliest. Other students may satisfy Foundation courses by passing an exam during a designated time prior the first semester of enrollment or by taking these courses.
Careers
With a MS in Information Technology, you can launch a career in industry, government, or other agencies.
Progress through management levels should be possible quickly, with the eventual career path leading to Chief Technology Officer.

Bachelor of Science in Information Technology
Program Description
The Bachelor of Science in Information Technology degree, which is accredited by the Computing Accreditation Commission of ABET, www.abet.org, has the primary objective of meeting the high demand for professional degrees in the strategy, development and administration of integrated computing, management, and information technology systems. The degree has core requirements, major requirements and required electives. The major contains those courses considered fundamental to the information technology field and the electives give the student some flexibility in choice.
Careers
Your degree will also prepare you for graduate school in IT or a related field.
Progress to management should be possible quickly, with the eventual career path leading to Chief Technology Officer.

Graduate Certificate in Information Technology Foundations
Program Description
The Graduate Certificate in Information Technology Security Program is designed for IT professionals who have a bachelor’s degree or have taken the Information Technology Foundations Graduate Certificate (or the equivalent through other course work) to advance their knowledge in the field of information security.
Students graduating with this program will have a strong background in fundamental principles and applications of computer security, as well as hands-on experience with security tools commonly used in industry.
